Scaling configurations of cosmic superstring networks and their cosmological implications
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractCosmic superstring networks contain strings of multiple tensions and Y-junctions. Depending on the magnitude of the fundamental string coupling, the stress-energy power spectrum of the scaling network is dominated either by populous light F strings, or rare heavy D strings. It may be possible to distinguish between these two regimes with future observations of CMB polarization.
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
