29 March - 1 April 2010
Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Cambridge, UK
Workshop Organisers: Professor P Souganidis (Chicago) and Professor Z Brzezniak (York)
in association with the Newton Institute programme Stochastic Partial Differential Equations (4 January to 2 July 2010)
There is a fee for attendance at this Newton Institute workshop and for accommodation. However, the Institute is able to offer grants to cover these fees in many deserving cases. The grants are awarded competitively, being targeted particularly at (but not restricted to) early-career researchers and those researchers without access to research grants of their own.
For those who are not awarded a Newton Institute grant there is a registration fee of £100 (reduced to £60 for students) which includes admission to all seminars, refreshments, reception, formal dinner and programme but does not include other meals or accommodation.
The accommodation package costing £420, includes a registration fee, accommodation, breakfast and dinner from dinner on Sunday 28 March to breakfast on Friday 2 April 2010 together with lunch and refreshments during the days that lectures take place.
Accommodation and meals are provided at Wolfson Court, next to the Newton Institute where single study bedrooms with shared bathrooms are available.
Some support may be available for Phd students and early career researchers under the Institute's Junior Membership scheme.
There might be some funds available especially for young mathematicians and mathematicians from under-represented groups, who are especially encouraged to apply.
