Finite Size Corrections to the Bethe Ansatz in N = 4 SYM: A Diagrammatic Approach

Mann, N (Chicago)
Monday 10 December 2007, 14:20-14:40

Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute

Abstract

I discuss the problem of wrapping corrections to the BES Bethe Ansatz. The problem can be phrased as a perturbation on the BES Bethe Ansatz, which assumes long operators. I discuss applying this philosophy to the SU(2) Konishi operator, and present work in progress on this calculation. I predict that the trancendentality degree of the four-loop anomalous dimension o the Konishi operator will be five, in contradiction to previous proposals.
