Abstract

We discuss the issue of the chiral symmetry restoration in high excitations. On the phenomenological side we use the linearity and equidistance of the quark meson Regge trajectories to show that the Nambu-Goldstone mode persists at high energies. This conclusion is supported by theoretical consideration within the framework of the Sakai-Sugamoto construction.
