Shuryak, E (Stony Brook)
Monday 20 August 2007, 10:00-11:00

Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute

Abstract

The talk is a review of the current status of the field, which is very much in flux. Two central topics will be: (i) applications of AdS/CFT (both static finite T and dynamical) and (ii) electric-magnetic duality and the role of magnetic objects in sQGP.
