Disconnection of discrete cylinders and random interlacements
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractThe disconnection by random walk of a discrete cylinder with a large finite connected base has been a recent object of interest. It has to do with the way paths of random walks can create interfaces. In this talk we describe some current results and explain how this problem is related to questions of percolation and to the model of random interlacements.
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
