A supersymmetric model for quantum diffusion in 3d
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractSupersymmetric approach has proved to be a powerful tool for the study of random systems in mesoscopic physics, where classical techniques do not apply. I'll give an introduction to the technique in the case of a hyperbolic sigma model. This model is expected to describe qualitatively properties of random band matrices in d dimensions such as localization and delocalization. (Joint work with T. Spencer and M. Zirnbauer)
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
