Rigorous techniques for 1D systems (2)

Goldsheid, I (Queen Mary, London)
Friday 18 July 2008, 14:00-15:30

Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute

Furstenberg's theorem about the positivity of the top Lyapunov exponent. The general theorem about the existence of distinct Lyapunov exponents. The Anderson model on a strip and products of symplectic matrices. Lyapunov exponents of products of symplectic matrices.
