Invariant theory: a useful tool for equivariant dynamics and the mathematics of liquid crystals
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractIn this talk we will present some classical and modern results from invariant theory and and apply them to problems in equivariant dynamics and bifurcation and also to some problems in the theory of liquid crystals. We hope to identify and explain some problems where similar ideas are useful.
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
