Models of biological regulatory networks

The genome is a self-regulating network that controls the biochemical reactions in a cell. Biologists have known this for almost half a century, but only recently has systems-level genomics become a major undertaking in their discipline. Research in this area takes many forms, ranging from characterizations of general classes of networks to methodologies for accurately describing and modeling specific examples of genomic nets. This lecture will outline and give examples of some of these efforts.
