A class of self-similar solutions for the Vlasov-Einstein system (joint work with A. Rendall)
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractIn this talk I will describe a family of spherically symmetric self-similar solutions for the massless Einstein-Vlasov system. These solutions are supported in some particular hypersurfaces of the phase space and therefore, they are measure-like solutions, not fully dispersive. The construction of these solutions relies in reformulating the problem as a four-dimensional dynamical systems problem that is studied in detail in a suitable perturbative limit.
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
