Dendroidal sets and infinity-operads I
Seminar Room 2, Newton Institute Gatehouse
AbstractDendroidal sets form an extension of simplicial sets, suitable for dealing with nerves of (simplicial) operads rather than just categories. They also give rise to a natural definition of infinity-operad, completely parallel to that of infinity-category. In these lectures, I aim to introduce the category of dendroidal sets together with its monoidal structure and its compatible Quillen model category structure. If time allows, I will also discuss the comparison of the dendroidal theory of infinity-operads to Lurie's approach to infinity-operads.
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
