Spectrum of large non-hermitian random matrices
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractIn this talk, we will revisit recent works of T. Tao, V. Vu and others on large non-hermitian random matrices with independent and identically distributed entries. We will explain the general strategy behind this class of problems. As a byproduct, we will explain why the generalized eigenvalues distribution of two independent matrices converges almost surely to the uniform measure on the Riemann sphere.
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
