Anti-branes in Klebanov-Strassler: to be or not to be?
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractAnti-branes in the deformed conifold are used for example to construct de Sitter vacua. In the probe approximation, they lead to a metastable state. I will present work done over the last three years to go beyond the probe approximation by taking into account the back-reaction of the anti-branes. To be, or not to be (a metastable state), that is the question. We are pinning down the answer.
If it doesn't, something may have gone wrong with our embedded player.
We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
