Amplitudes for Fivebranes
Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
AbstractCo-authors: Darren Smyth (UBC), Evgeny Sorkin (UBC), Jared Stang (UBC) We study the complexified three point amplitudes, the basic building blocks for helicity amplitudes, for various six dimensional supersymmetric theories. In particular, we construct the amplitudes for the (2,0) theory, the worldvolume theory on coincident fivebranes in M theory, and discuss the implications for the dynamics of these mysterious theories.
