There is a fee for attendance at this Newton Institute workshop and for accommodation. However, the Institute is able to offer grants to cover these fees in many deserving cases. The grants are awarded competitively, being targeted particularly at (but not restricted to) early career researchers and those researchers without access to research grants of their own.
For those who are not awarded a Newton Institute grant, the registration fee per week is £50 (reduced to £25 for students) which includes admission to all seminars, refreshments and reception, but does not include meals or accommodation.

Please indicate on your application form which accommodation option you wish to reserve, subject to your application being accepted and accommodation availability, accommodation will be arranged.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be purchased from the cafeteria at Wolfson Court, adjacent to the Newton Institute.
If you wish to apply for a Newton Institute grant to cover the costs of this workshop, you should complete the "Funding Details" section of the application form. If you are a PhD student or an early career researcher then you may be eligible for support under the Institute's Junior Membership Scheme. Otherwise, in many cases we may be able to help especially if you have no other source of funds.
